Texas Deco Butterfly and Flowers Ring
This is another piece from my Texas Deco line of jewelry.
I took a calculated turn in design steps for this ring and began by using a couple of art deco style fan components that I stamped onto and sawed from a piece of 18-gauge sterling silver.
I used my technique of 'lifting & layering' two pieces of 22-gauge sterling silver for the base of the ring, bezel setting a faceted Rhodolite Garnet onto an additional layer of 22-gauge silver. A group of cast sterling silver flowers were grouped into a flower garden to fly the organically fabricated butterfly, just above. Half bead wire adorns the scallops just below.
The band is made from lowdome wire, which measures a bit under 6mm wide. This Texas Deco Butterfly & Flowers ring is a size 9.
